Any concerns regarding students should initially be referred to the Student Services Team. Concerns of a safeguarding nature should be referred to the Safeguarding Team.

The Student Services team can provide parents with web links to follow-up concerns and in certain cases indicate the Common Assessment Framework (CAF) in order to establish the level of need for a student or family.

The CHAT HEALTH number is 07507 332891. This is a confidential texting service available to students aged 11-19 years.
A School Nurse, employed by the Health Service, visits Hessle High School and is available to all young people. Appointments with the school nurse may be requested directly with the School Nurse using the numbers on the Student Information Boards or through the Student Services Team. The School Nurse may also be contacted directly on Tuesday lunchtimes at the health drop-in sessions.
